Last Week Tonight and John Oliver embrace Trumps Nationalism
As an American who frequently meanders the blue marble. John Oliver's Last Week Tonight has been like an old friend. The one you drive to the pub, because you only drink soda, but you know they need something unleaded. The more he drinks, the sharper his wit and the more serious yet amusing the discussion. With true regret and sadness it seems I've lost this delightful dialog.
The irony of the statement, "The uploader has not made this video available in your country."; Of course this fact: This isn't my country.
Why does this manner of censorship exist anyway?
It's unsettling that this is the very first episode of Last Week Tonight HBO has censored. Was it to make a point of just how much nationalism sucks? Or is it the beginning of the end for those of us around the world American Citizens or not who have come to appreciate this man and his brilliant team?
